In the fourth support committee of this year, 324 projects in the genre of documentary film production were evaluated by the 8-person support committee consisting of cinema sector representatives.
With this support, the total amount provided by the Ministry to the cinema sector in 2021 reached 48 million liras.
The Ministry of Culture and Tourism provided 2021 million TL support to 159 movie theaters that had to close their doors due to the global epidemic in 15,9, within the scope of "Domestic Film Screening Support".
The Ministry gave 88 million 1 thousand liras support to 782 projects in the types of scenario, short film, animated film and project development.
The amount of support given to 26 projects in the types of first feature fiction film production, feature film production, post-production, distribution and promotion and co-production amounted to 25 million 50 thousand liras.
New applications for “First Feature Film Production”, “Feature Motion Picture Production”, “Co-Production”, “Post Shooting and Distribution Promotion” will close on 30 June.
Its evaluation will be made at the last support board of the year, which will be held in September.
