Durgunsu Canoe Turkey Championship races, organized with the cooperation of Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality and Turkish Canoe Federation, will be held between 11 June and 13 June at Sarısungur Pond.
The excitement of the Durgunsu Canoe Championship begins in Sarısungur Pond, which has been realized by the Metropolitan Municipality in Mamuca and has become the center of water sports. Young athletes will compete fiercely in the championship, which will be held without spectators this year due to the pandemic. In the championship, in which 12 sports clubs from 25 provinces participated, 250 athletes will compete in various categories in the 200, 500 and 1000 meter lanes. Durgunsu Canoe Turkey Championship, where the final races will be held on Sunday, June 13, will also be broadcast live on the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Facebook account.
Stating that they are happy that the events that could not be held last year due to the pandemic, started again with the normalization rules, Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Büyükerşen wished success to all the athletes who will participate in the championship.
