Ankara İzmir high-speed train project was given to ERG construction for 2 billion 163 Euros. The tender was objected to, but the Council of State granted a visa to the largest tender in the world so far.
The tender for the Ankara-İzmir high-speed train project was made in October 2020 with a bargaining method, and ERG İnşaat was the company that won the tender for 2 billion 163 Euros, that is, approximately 22 billion liras.
After the result of the tender, Ege Gökmen İnşaat applied to the court after the tender and requested that the construction work of the billion-dollar project given to ERG construction by the Ministry of Transport be stopped.
In the appeal petition, the sentence of cancellation of the "Ankara İzmir high-speed train line construction work" tender held on 4749/7/4734 pursuant to Article 3/C of the Law No. 06 within the scope of Article 10 of the Law No. had received.

However, the 5th Administrative Court of Ankara did not find the claims of Ege Gökmen İnşaat on the spot.
The plaintiff decided that the company did not have the capacity to sue. The issue was discussed again in the 13th Chamber of the Council of State.
With its decision numbered 2021/920, the Chamber found the previous court's decision in place.
In the decision of the Council of State, it was stated that "the grounds of appeal were not considered to require the reversal of the decision".
Thus, there was no obstacle left for the start of the treasury-guaranteed railway construction, which is currently seen as the world's largest tender.
Ege Gökmen İnşaat had applied in a similar way before and caused the cancellation of the Bursa Light Metro tender.
The same tender was again canceled by the 13th Chamber of the Council of State.
The railway construction, which will facilitate the transportation of passengers and goods between Ankara and İzmir, will be carried out by ERG İnşaat.
ERG İnşaat had previously come to the fore with the adana-pozantı highway tender with a build-operate-transfer model worth 4 billion euros.
