Transformation to Alternative Fuels in Automotive Has Begun

Although we do not feel it due to the situation we are in in Turkey, the transformation to alternative fuels has begun in the member states of the European Union. The sales figures of electric and hybrid vehicles, the incentives applied for the conversion of old vehicles to LPG and the increasing diesel bans are forcing automobile manufacturers to take a step. We would be very happy if you get the opportunity to review our news proposal on the subject.

The effects of Global Warming, successive environmental disasters forced states and interstate institutions to take action against Global Climate Change. After the European Union announced that it would reduce its carbon emission target by 2030 percent in 60, the UK announced that it would ban gasoline and diesel vehicles with its 2030 targets, which it called the 'Green Plan'. This decision of England was followed by Japan. Japan has also stated that it may impose a ban on diesel and gasoline vehicles by 2030.

So, is it possible to give up on internal combustion engines all of a sudden? How will the transition process work? BRC Turkey CEO Kadir Örücü said that diesel and gasoline fuels will be replaced by hybrid and LPG vehicles in internal combustion engines. Örücü's thesis; It supports the fact that LPG is the most environmentally friendly fossil fuel known:

According to the World LPG Organization (WLPGA) data, the carbon emission of LPG is 10 CO2e/MJ, while the emission value of Diesel is measured as 100 CO2e/MJ, and the carbon emission value of gasoline is 80 CO2e/MJ. LPG emits 8/1 of gasoline and 10/1th of diesel's carbon emissions. In addition, LPG does not emit solid particles (PM) that are harmful to human health when burning.

ELECTRIC VEHICLES HAVE BATTERY PROBLEM!

The battery technology used by electric vehicles is based on the Lithium batteries we use in our electronic devices. Since lithium is not recycled, these batteries are thrown away at the end of their life. Since developed countries do not accept toxic, flammable and reactive lithium, batteries with the end of their life are sold to underdeveloped countries as 'garbage'. An average Tesla brand vehicle is thought to contain about 70 kilos of lithium.

LPG CAN BE PRODUCED FROM BIOLOGICAL WASTE

BioLPG, which can be produced from vegetable-based oils such as waste palm oil, corn oil, soybean oil, and waste fish and animal oils, which is seen as biological waste, is already in the UK, Netherlands, Poland, Spain and the USA. It is also used in waste management. BioLPG's carbon emission value is lower than LPG and it can be used in every area where LPG is used without requiring a special conversion.
