Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu went to Balıkesir to hold a series of contacts. Minister Karaismailoğlu, who first met with the fishermen in Altınova, then visited the Ayvalık Center.
Speaking in the Ayvalık district of Balıkesir, Minister Karaismailoğlu stated that today is an important day for Balıkesir; Consulting on the ongoing projects of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure in Balıkesir; He said they will visit the construction site.
Karaismailoğlu said, “On Friday, May 21, there was an important disaster in Ayvalık. Due to the intense storm, both our fishing boats and excursion boats experienced very important problems here. As a state, Ayvalık has been on our agenda since the first day. We are making a great effort to solve this disaster with the least damage and forget the old damage. In the first days, a significant amount of money was given as a lifeline. These steps will continue for both our fishing boats and our excursion boats. We have initiated projects of important works that will enable modern fishing shelters and excursion boats to be moored and their activities in a way befitting Ayvalık. After the projects are completed in a short time, they are included in the investment program; We will make a great effort to implement them on-site as soon as possible.”

Reminding that as the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, they have accomplished major projects throughout Turkey for the last 19 years, Minister Karaisamiloğlu continued his speech as follows:
“Nobody should doubt that there will be very important developments regarding marine structures in Ayvalık. We will take important steps for the future of Ayvalık and then Balıkesir as a team together with our Metropolitan Mayor, Mayors, Deputies, District Presidents. Our great achievements in the fields of transportation, infrastructure, road, airline and railway will continue by sea. There will be very important developments regarding marine structures in the coming days.
Minister Karaismailoğlu, who also visited the AK Party Ayvalık District Presidency within the scope of the Balıkesir program, will examine the İvrindi-Victim Road works on the Ayvalık-Balıkesir road from here. Karaismailoğlu, who will continue his program by visiting the Governorship of Balıkesir, will visit the Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality after the Friday Prayer. Karaismailoğlu, who will meet with the party members during his visit to the AK Party Balıkesir Provincial Presidency, will conduct investigations at Balıkesir-Savastape Construction Site and Balıkesir-Dursunbey Construction Site.
