The Ministry of Interior sent a circular to 81 Provincial Governorships on “2021 Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) Precautions”.

In the circular, the 26 Higher Education Institutions Exam, which will be held by the OSYM Presidency on 27-2021 June 200 in 2021 exam centers consisting of provincial centers and some districts; It was reminded that it will be implemented in 10.15 sessions, Saturday morning (12.30-10.15), Sunday morning (13.15-15.45) and Sunday afternoon (17.45-3).

In this context; The procedures and principles to be applied by the governorship and district governorships in order to carry out the 2021 Higher Education Institutions Exam in the most appropriate conditions in terms of anti-epidemic and security measures and to avoid any disruptions are listed as follows:

Population directorates will be open between 26-2021 on Saturday, June 07.00, 17.00, and between 27-2021 on Sunday, June 07.00, 15.30, in order to see the urgent business and transactions of the candidates who will take the exam.

For the intercity travels of the examiners and the candidates who will take the exam, as well as their accompanying person and/or their relatives, with their private vehicles to take the YKS exam, a travel permit will not be required, and it will be sufficient for the persons specified in the inspections to present their duty document or candidate entry document.

On Sunday, June 27, 2021, when a full-day curfew will be applied, exam officials and candidates who will take the exam, their accompanying person and/or their relatives will be exempted from the curfew between 05.00 and 19.00 on the condition that they document their situation (officer or candidate entry document).

On Sunday, June 27, 2021, stationery shops and photographers (to provide the photo required for the ID card) will be open between 07.00-18.00. Those working in these places will also be exempted from the curfew within the specified time period.

All kinds of measures, including increasing the number of urban public transport services, will be taken by the relevant units, especially municipalities, in order to prevent any disruption in the transportation of the students who will take the exam, their relatives / companions and exam officials to the exam places.

By Governors and District Governors; All necessary measures to pass the exam in a quiet and peaceful environment will be taken in coordination with the national education directorates, law enforcement officers, local administrations and other relevant institutions/organizations.

In this context, patrol activities will be intensified in the school surroundings where the exam will be held by law enforcement units, and unnecessary horn sounding and other noisy activities that may distract students who will take the exam will be prevented. Efforts will be focused on increasing public awareness about not making noise during the exam period.

The decisions of the Provincial/District Public Health Boards will be taken promptly by the governors and district governors in line with the procedures and principles set forth above, in accordance with Articles 27 and 72 of the Public Health Law. There will be no disruptions in the application and no grievances will be caused.
