Diyarbakir Metropolitan Municipality is renovating the roads of Makam Mountain, which is located in Ergani district and has an important place in terms of faith tourism.
The Metropolitan Municipality is implementing new projects to increase the tourism potential of the city, and to provide citizens with more comfortable access to the holy places.
Building Road Maintenance and Infrastructure Coordination Department will lay 10 thousand square meters of parquet on the roads and lay 2 km hot asphalt on the roads in order to enable the citizens to reach Makam Mountain more easily within the scope of the works.
Landscaping is done
The Parks and Gardens Department, on the other hand, started work on the Makam Mountain, where the Prophet's office is located and which is visited by the citizens because of its scenery.
The teams repaired the wooden sleeper road and wooden railings, which are dangerous due to their damaged and broken parts, and built a 20-meter slate road.
The Metropolitan Municipality will also make landscaping so that citizens can have a good time on Makam Mountain.
