GÖKBEY Helicopter Received Design Organization Approval Certificate

Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) was awarded the "Design Organization Approval" certificate for the GÖKBEY helicopter by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation (SHGM).

The certificate of approval, General Director of Civil Aviation Prof. Dr. Kemal YÜKSEK, General Manager of TUSAŞ Prof. Dr. Temel was presented to KOTİL.

The scope of the Design Organization Approval (DOA) document given to TAI with the HÜRKUŞ project in the past years has been expanded for the T625 GÖKBEY helicopter to include the design of large helicopters. TAI has successfully completed the comprehensive and detailed evaluation processes carried out by DGCA in accordance with national and international laws. Thus, another important step towards obtaining the Type Certificate has taken place for the T625 GÖKBEY helicopter.

Speaking about the Design Organization Approval, TUSAŞ General Manager Prof. Dr. Temel KOTİL said, “Today is a very important day for us. Previously, we had a certification authority for the fixed wing Hürkuş. Now, we have successfully completed another important stage for GÖKBEY, which is our XNUMX% national helicopter from scratch. By strengthening our cooperation with SHGM, we will continue to take all necessary actions for our domestic and national products.” said.

General Director of SHGM Prof. Dr. Kemal YÜKSEK told the following: “Such things are important in reaching the targets. As SHGM, we are identities walking together with TUSAŞ.
