“Turkey is really on the transit route geographically. There are many corridors. We are on the 45-kilometer section of the Northern Marmara Motorway. There are Northern Marmara Highway, Sazlıbosna Bridge, Sazlıdere, D-100, TEM. We will provide new transportation as well as existing routes. Sazlıdere Bridge is one of the best in its class. A total of 860 meters. A bridge of 1600 meters with connecting viaducts. Its total height is 169 meters as a tower. The height between the deck and the water is 79 meters. It is suitable for the passage of all ships underway in the world.
He stated that the Sazlıdere Bridge was designed as 4 departures and 4 arrivals, that it can go up to 12 lanes in some places and that when the project is completed, it will relieve the traffic in Mahmutbey Tolls in the west of Istanbul.
”The bridges in Kanal Istanbul will be free.”
General Manager of Highways, Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, stated in the live broadcast that the bridge will be completed in about 2 years, a total of 6 bridges will be built together with the bridge, no fee will be charged from the bridges, and a highway fee will be charged if it is on the toll highway.
