KARDEMİR, which signed protocols with many universities under the name of University-Industry cooperation, made a public statement on the subject by making its first foreign university contact.
In the written statement made by KARDEMİR, it was stated as follows; While our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the President of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, met in the city of Susha, which was liberated from the occupation, in our company, Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University Prof. Dr. We hosted Mustafa Babanlı and his accompanying delegation.
Our company, which signed protocols with many universities under the name of University-Industry cooperation, made its first international university contact. At the meeting, attended by our General Manager Mr. Necdet Utkanlar and our company executives, collaborations that can be made in the academic and commercial fields with Rector Babanlı and his delegation were discussed. After the information we received about the Azerbaijan State and Petroleum University, which continues its activities in the field of underground resources and metallurgy, we made our company presentation and promotion.
During our field trip, which started after our meeting, the Continuous Castings Directorate, Rail Profile Rolling Mill, Çubuk Coil Rolling Mill, and Railway Wheel Production Facility were visited, and a technical visit was made at our subsidiary Kardökmak. Mr. Babanlı, who conveyed his impressions on our factory site, stated that the works of our company are at a high level and that our facility is a source of pride for Turks.
After the “First Turkish Iron” plaque presented to Mustafa Babanlı by our General Manager, Mr. Necdet Utkanlar, our trip ended with a souvenir photo taken with our guests.
