The 335 environmentally friendly buses, which provide transportation services in all districts of Kocaeli by the Metropolitan Municipality, both save money and do not harm the environment. Eco-friendly buses have saved approximately 2021 million TL by using 9,2 million cubic meters of natural gas per 4,9 million km in 15 so far.
9,2 MILLION METERS OF NATURAL GAS AT 4,9 MILLION KM
TransportationPark Inc. buses traveled a total of 2021 million km between January and June 9,2. If the buses used used diesel, 3,680.000 liters of diesel would have been consumed. A total of 4.9 million (m³) of fuel was consumed in the use of natural gas. 10.000.000 TL was paid for the natural gas fuel used. But if the fuel used was diesel, it would have been 25.392.000 TL. TransportationPark has saved 15.392.000 TL in the specified date range with its environmentally friendly vehicles.
BUSES WITH NO DAMAGE TO THE ENVIRONMENT
If TransportationPark Transportation Services had used diesel vehicles, it would have released 128.5 tons of carbon monoxide and particulates in a total of 130 million km from the day it was founded. However, thanks to the "Eco-Friendly" buses used, this figure has been reduced to 68 tons of carbon monoxide and particulate emissions.
