The 1,6-kilometer Erek Mountain Street, which was included in the 'Prestige Street Projects' by the Van Metropolitan Municipality, will be completely renovated.

Erek Mountain Street, the project of which was prepared by the Department of Surveys and Projects within the scope of the urban transformation and renewal works initiated by the Metropolitan Municipality in the city, is being renewed. Erek Mountain Street, which is one of the important streets of the city and has been treated like a back street for years, will come to the point it deserves by the Metropolitan Municipality. Starting from Van Shopping Mall Junction Karşıyaka The 1,6-kilometer street extending to Beşyol Junction will have a modern appearance with renovation works.

AUTOMATIC IRRIGATION SYSTEM AND BICYCLE ROAD WILL BE MADE

While the tender phase of the project, which will be implemented by the Department of Science, is completed, there will be bicycle lanes in both lanes within the scope of the project. In addition, asphalt, pedestrian road, central median, rainwater drainage line, decorative lighting, fiber-optic line under the pavement, disabled walking belt and automatic irrigation system will be built within the scope of the work. Again, the existing power lines that create a bad image will be underground by VEDAŞ.

IT WILL BE RENEWED BY CONSIDERING THE SEASONAL CONDITIONS

In the project, which was prepared considering the seasonal conditions and environmental factors, andesite slabs and basalt cubestones are used on the pavements, while great importance is given to the green texture. In addition to the landscaping work to be done, plane trees will be planted along the street along the roadside and linden trees will be planted in the middle refuge.

On the other hand, the 4 streets, where 'Prestige Street Projects' were previously implemented by the Van Metropolitan Municipality, became attraction centers and attracted great attention from the citizens.
