Adil Karaismailoğlu, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, opened the Turkish Aerospace Industry Bridge Junction and connection roads in the Akıncı area of ​​the Anatolian Highway in the Kahramankazan district of Ankara. Stating that they have implemented the projects needed in urban and transit transportation in Ankara, Karaismailoğlu stated that they have established easy access to important centers by providing uninterrupted traffic flow at the joining points of the main routes.

Stating that despite the coronavirus epidemic, which has affected the whole world, they have taken all necessary health measures and continue the transportation and communication projects that will carry the country to the future without slowing down, Minister Karaismailoğlu noted that they are building all investments using the most up-to-date technologies and always putting integration at the center.

Karaismailoğlu said, “While we are creating an integrated and efficient ecosystem with the infrastructure we have built on land, air, sea and railways and established in the field of communication, we are starting a new era in both freight, human and data transportation. In terms of logistics, Turkey, which has become a country that reigns on the world's most important trade routes, is today the playmaker of trade between Europe, Asia and Africa with its presence in the Middle Corridor. Our investments, which establish Turkey's 10-year, 50-year, or even 100-year future, are for our youth to live in a more prosperous future. "Investments made in the field of transportation are direct investments in the development of the economy."

Minister Karaismailoğlu stated that they will open the last section of the Northern Marmara Highway, one of the projects of the century, on Friday, May 21, with a ceremony attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and said, “ We are opening our way, which includes the longest tunnel in the world, ”he said.

Karaismailoğlu said, “We have made unprecedented investments in railways in the last 19 years. We built a 213-kilometer high-speed train line. We raised our country to the level of being the 8th high-speed train operator in the world and the 6th in Europe. Our investment in the railroad with a length of 3 thousand 500 km continues ”.

Karaismailoğlu said, “Kahramankazan district, which is located on the route of the State Road and Anatolian Highway, which provides transportation between Ankara and Istanbul, has been growing day by day with the industrialization breakthrough in recent years. Ankara Space and Aviation Specialized Organized Industry Zone, especially Türk Havacılık ve Uzay Sanayii A.Ş., located in the region; It is the technology center of Turkey in the development, modernization, production, system integration and life cycle support processes of aviation and aerospace systems. At this point, realizing this important project, which will increase the transportation quality of such an important center for our country, is a separate source of happiness and pride for us. With the Köprülü Intersection, which we have completed, the Ankara Space and Aviation Specialized Organized Industrial Zone has directly participated in the Anatolian Highway, ”he said.

In his speech, Minister Karaismailoğlu pointed out that the mobilization to bring the saplings to the soil during the period of their governments won the appreciation of the world and that they have brought 19 billion saplings to the soil in the last 5,3 years; He stated that they have increased the forest assets from 20,8 million hectares to 19 million hectares as a result of the studies carried out in the last 23 years.

Karaismailoğlu said, “Our Ministry eliminates the carbon dioxide emission equivalent to more than 2 million 500 thousand trees annually, thanks to the highways investments alone. Thanks to our general transportation and infrastructure projects, we saved 2020 billion 1 million dollars from time, 324 million dollars from fuel and 546 million dollars from environmental costs in 11 alone. The contribution of all our transportation projects to the environment is obvious. History will justify us and future generations will applaud us, not those fronts that attack every innovation and development. Turkey is no longer the old Turkey. “The new Turkey is also fed up with these old-fashioned black propagandists”.
