Izmir Buca Metro tender was held. A new step was taken by the Metropolitan Municipality in the tender process initiated for the Buca metro. In the first stage of the Izmir Buca Metro construction tender, offers were received from 14 companies and partnerships. The tender is being held in two stages, and those who are qualified from the companies participating in the first stage will be able to participate in the second stage. In the second stage, financial offers will be submitted and a contract will be signed with the company that offers the best offer.

İzmir Buca Metro Tender 14 bids were received for the first stage, companies applying for qualification are as follows:

  14. China Ltd - Ozgun Construction JV

Buca Metro will be 9.5 kilometers

Within the scope of the tender, Üçyol Station-Dokuz Eylül University Tınaztepe Campus-Buca Koop. application projects, tender documents, EIA report, transportation study, feasibility report and ground surveys, and warehouse area and building preparation consultancy services will be carried out. After the finalized decision has been notified to the winning company, the work will be started upon completion of the legal tender process and the whole work will be completed in 9.5 months. Following the acquisition of the projects, the tender will be awarded by the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, Directorate General of Infrastructure Investments and Ministry of Development.

Deep tunnel

The total 9.5 kilometer in Buca Metro will follow Halide Edip Adıvar Street from Üçyol. Following the Mehmet Akif Street, Şirinyer Junction, Buca Belediyesi front, Hasanağa Garden as well as Dokuz Eylül University Tınaztepe Campus and the last station will extend to the Buca Koop region. The Buca line, where the 8 station will be located, is planned as a deep tunnel. This will even be about 20 minutes of journey time.
