SKODA AUTO increased its global deliveries to its customers by 2020 percent in the first three months of 2021 compared to 7.2. During this period, SKODA AUTO's operating profit was 46.1 percent higher than in the first three months of the previous year. SKODA expects this positive development to continue in the second half of 2020.

Having made a good start to the year, SKODA managed to achieve a remarkable first quarter despite the pandemic and the shortage of chips. In the coming months, the demand for the brand is expected to increase further with the introduction of new models and the introduction of the electric SUV ENYAQ iV model, as well as the launch of the new generation FABIA.

Looking at the markets, ŠKODA achieved a record growth of 111 percent in Western Europe with 600 units in the first quarter. However, according to first month data, ŠKODA grew by 4.6 percent in Germany, the second largest market compared to last year, while Italian growth was 2.3 percent, France 39.2 percent, Spain 44.3 percent and Belgium 32.6 percent.

SKODA's growth in Turkey has also attracted attention globally. In the first four months, it sold 12 thousand 42 units in Turkey and continued its success by growing 195.9 percent in terms of units compared to last year and became the second brand to increase its market share the most in this period.

Globally, the best-selling models in the first quarter were OCTAVIA with 63 units, KAROQ with 600 units, KAMIQ with 36 units, KODIAQ with 600 units, FABIA with 34 units, and SUPERB with 700 units. 33 units were sold from the electric SUV ENYAQ.
