İzmir Metropolitan Municipality continues its works in Halit Ziya Boulevard within the scope of the First Stage Enclosure Infrastructure Project, which it conducts to prevent floods in the Kemeraltı region and to strengthen the infrastructure of the region. Due to the infrastructure works, a new arrangement was made in line with the safety precautions on the avenue where the traffic flow was provided from a single lane. İzmir Metropolitan Municipality continues its infrastructure works, which started on April 28, at Halit Ziya Boulevard, which connects Fevzi Paşa Boulevard and Gazi Boulevard, within the scope of the First Stage Interception Infrastructure Project aimed at preventing floods in Kemeraltı during heavy rainfall. Due to the works on the avenue used by vehicles going from Mustafa Kemal Sahil Boulevard to Alsancak, the traffic flow from a single lane was reorganized in accordance with the request of the Traffic Inspection Branch Directorate of the Izmir Police Department in order to reduce the traffic congestion on Fevzi Paşa Boulevard and to provide the necessary safety during the works. It has been reported that Halit Ziya Boulevard will be closed to traffic as of tomorrow (Monday, May 24).
Measures taken
Atatürk Boulevard, which is used by vehicles that want to go to Alsancak from Mustafa Kemal Sahil Boulevard, between 07.30-10.30, Halit Ziya Boulevard will be closed to traffic and can be used between 07.30 and 16.00. After 16.00:XNUMX, vehicles will go to Alsancak via Basmane. Temporary traffic pattern will last for a month.
