Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality incorporated an important building in terms of the historical memory of the city. He bought Bolulu Habip Bey Mansion, known as Bulgur Palas, which was used as an archive building for a long time. Saying that they presented one of the most important historical buildings of Istanbul to Istanbul residents, IMM Deputy Secretary General Mahir Polat said, “The building was brought to IMM and Istanbulites with a very special effort. It is a very important structure. It is a building whose construction started in 1912 and saw the years of the 1st World War, the armistice and the early republic period. It is very valuable in terms of memory history of Istanbul. As IMM, we will produce an information-document center, archive, library, exhibition hall and cafe areas. Then we will put it at the service of Istanbul, ”he said.

Polat stated that they will start the renovations to benefit Istanbul without losing time and that the building has a unique viewing terrace.
