Havaş, the experienced brand of ground handling services; undertook all ground handling and de-icing operations for private business jets by expanding its cooperation with FBO RIGA, which it supports within the scope of general aviation activities.

Havaş, which has been providing a full range of ground services from passenger and flight operations to baggage, ramp and general aviation activities to airlines, especially the flag carrier of Latvia, since 2010 at Riga Airport, Flight Consulting Group and its subsidiary expanded the scope of its business partnership with FBO RIGA. With the agreement, Havaş will perform all ground handling and de-icing operations of private business jets served by FBO RIGA at Riga Airport until 2024. In addition, the cooperation is planned to expand to Riga Airport, as well as to the other European and Commonwealth of Independent States airports network served by Flight Consulting Group and Havaş.

Havaş General Manager S. Mete Erna said, “We have achieved a synergy compatible with FBO RIGA, which we have supported in ground handling operations for private business jets until today. Accordingly, we provided safe and complete ground handling services to FBO RIGA's general aviation operations, which increased at Riga Airport in 2020. As a result, we are pleased to expand our partnership with the Flight Consulting Group, and in particular FBO RIGA, to undertake ground handling and de-icing operations for all flights. ''
