Hasan Pezük, General Manager of TCDD Taşımacılık AŞ, visited Ankara Eryaman YHT Maintenance Center, where the high-speed train sets are maintained, and examined the works on site.
Reminding that high-speed trains are operated on a total of 1213 kilometers of high-speed railway line, Pezük stated that the YHT Maintenance Center undertakes a very important task and responsibility in providing the YHT operation safely and comfortably.
Pezük: The maintenance of our high-speed train sets, which still carry out 22 trips a day within the framework of the gradual normalization program under pandemic conditions, is carried out regularly in this center. I congratulate all my colleagues working in this center and wish them good luck. At the moment, we have 12 sets together with 31 YHT sets, which we recently got from Germany. As stated by our Minister, efforts to manufacture our domestic and national high-speed train are continuing. This year, first the Konya-Karaman high-speed railway line and then the Ankara-Sivas YHT line will be put into operation. Turkey will have a total of 2023 thousand kilometers of railway network in 17, with the gradual commissioning of high-speed and high-speed railway lines. Therefore, with the awareness that we are a great team, we will continue to work hard to carry out our business in the best way possible.
