Launched a sea-train compound transportation system from the port of Guangzhou city of southern China province Guangdong to Europe. The opening of the transport service was made by a train of 50 wagons transporting high quality electronic equipment to Poland.

Products worth 150 million yuan ($ 23,2 million) were brought to the port by sea from two factories of technology giant LG, one in Guangzhou and the other in Vietnam. The goods will arrive in Poland within 15 days by rail; this is 20 days shorter than the time to arrive if continued by sea.

Guangzhou Port Group General Manager Huang Bo stated that the service to be provided here will provide a stable logistic transition. In this period, when the Kovid-19 epidemic greatly negatively affected sea and air transportation, China-Europe train transportation played a very important balancing role in the field of international logistics.

Prior to the combined service, China Railway Guangzhou Group Co., Ltd. announced that this year it transported more than 107 container freight between Guangdong province and Central Asia or Europe through 5 freight trains, which is a record number.
