Diyarbakır Airport Will Be Closed To Flight Traffic For 1 Month

The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure announced that Diyarbakır Airport will be closed to flight traffic for 1 month due to maintenance and repair work to be carried out on the main runway.

The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure announced that Diyarbakır Airport will be closed to flight traffic between May 24 and June 24, 2021 due to maintenance and repair work to be carried out on the main runway. Passengers who will choose the airline to and from Diyarbakır will be able to get service from Batman and Mardin Airports, which are about 100 km from the city.

The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure reported that during the maintenance and repair work to be carried out on the Diyarbakır Airport runway, all necessary precautions were taken to ensure that passengers do not experience unjust treatment and uninterrupted transportation planning was made.

Diyarbakır Airport flights will be operated from Batman and Mardin Airports.
