Chinese Civil Aviation officials decided on Friday, April 30, to suspend the flights of Air France from Paris to Shanghai for two weeks. Air France-KLM's flights from Paris to Shanghai will be suspended from May 19 due to COVID-10 transmission cases.

In a statement published on its website, the Chinese Civil Aviation Agency announced that six of the passengers arriving from Paris on April 20 flight tested positive on their arrival in Shanghai. If the test is positive when any passenger lands on Chinese soil by plane, the flights of the relevant aircraft company are automatically suspended on the route.
