Bursa Metropolitan Municipality has extended the visa procedures of the disabled and disabled companion card holders who could not get a report from hospitals during the pandemic process until 31 AUGUST 2021, without the need for a hospital report.

Since March last year, when coronavirus cases were seen for the first time in Turkey, Bursa Metropolitan Municipality has added a new one to its positive discrimination studies for disabled citizens by putting into effect both disinfection studies and social support programs for all segments of the society, who have been adversely affected by the process, from citizens to tradesmen. While the disabled and accompanying citizens of the disabled had difficulty in obtaining the doctor's reports required for visa procedures for their public transportation cards from hospitals due to the pandemic, the Metropolitan Municipality introduced a visa exemption for these citizens on May 31 last year. The application, which was originally up to June 30, has been extended first to January, then to March 31, then to May 31, and now to August 31, 2021, as the effects of the pandemic continued.

Burulaş renewed the visas of 75 disabled and disabled companions for free until 551 AUGUST. Thus, disabled citizens who had difficulties in obtaining reports were provided with the opportunity to easily benefit from public transportation.
