The 'Elevator Safety Equipment Test and Development Center', which was implemented by the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO), where elevator safety components are tested reliably, meets an important need of the industry. While the center reduces the dependence of the elevator industry to abroad in testing and inspection services, it also supports the remaining equity in Turkey.

The 'Elevator Safety Equipment Test and Development Center', which was brought to the city by BTSO, the umbrella organization of the Bursa business world, continues to serve the sector representatives within the body of BTSO MESYEB. The center ensures that the test and inspection services of the elevator industry are carried out at a cost of 3 in 1 compared to abroad. Industry representatives from Bursa continue to benefit from all the advantages offered by the test center.

Sector representatives who visited the 'Lift Safety Equipment Test and Development Center' stated that the center met an important demand of the sector. Serdar Aksöz, General Manager of ASPAR, stated that they export elevators and equipments to many countries of the world in the field of elevators. Noting that he had the opportunity to examine in detail the test center, which was established under the roof of BTSO, Aksöz said, “I thank everyone who contributed. Elevator is a very important issue. We are carrying people. We also need to have the awareness of transporting people. I see a good service come to life. As a company, we feel an additional reliability when another institution approves our own quality. As a representative who has been in the sector for a long time, I can easily say that I have not seen such a test center in Europe. This center will increase the reliability of the manufactured elevators. " said.

Providing service within the scope of market surveillance and inspection activities carried out by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the center offers important opportunities to the sector. Test and Development Center can be used for certification and inspection of products. The center, which has a laboratory infrastructure to verify R&D activities on products, includes the first laboratory where elevator safety components such as brake system, speed regulator, buffers, rails and elevator motors can be tested separately, as well as integrated testing of elevator parts. Accredited by TÜRKAK, the center draws attention with the introduction of many leading technologies to the country that will meet the needs of the sector.
