Kimi's Creator Challenge1 is an international design competition where participants compete to design the most creative racing shoes for Formula 1 driver Kimi Räikkönen. The jury of the competition includes representatives of Acer, Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN and Sparco.

The winning design will be worn and signed by the champion at one of the Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend races. It will then be put up for sale at an auction on behalf of the "Save the Children" Foundation, a humanitarian aid organization working to improve the living conditions of children. The winner of the winning design will be rewarded with ConceptD Creator Studio (workstation + monitor).

Participants will be able to submit their designs through the Kimi's Creator Challenge landing page until June 10, 1, for the competition, whose applications started on May 2021.

As the official partner of Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN, Acer announced the international design competition Kimi's Creator Challenge, which it co-hosted with Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN, Sparco and world champion Formula 1 driver Kimi Räikkönen.

This competition, which is open to designers from all over the world, invites participants to design the shoes that the famous pilot Kimi Räikkönen, one of the most popular and iconic names in Formula 1, will wear at one of the weekend races. The winning design will be put up for sale at an auction on behalf of the international children's rights organization “Save the Children”.

How can you participate in Kimi's Creator Challenge1?

  • Participants can download the design template and related instructions from the Kimi's Creator Challenge landing page, save and upload their designs on the same website.
  • After the top three designs to be shortlisted have been determined by an online vote, the winning design will be selected by a jury consisting of executives from Kimi Räikkönen, Acer, Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN and Sparco.
  • The winning shoe design will be worn and signed by Kimi Räikkönen at the planned weekend race, after being produced with the support of Sparco. It will then be available for sale at auction along with a suitable Acer ConceptD 7 laptop to raise funds for Save the Children.
  • The winner will be announced in mid-June and will also be rewarded with a ConceptD Creator Studio (ConceptD 300 workstation and CP monitor).

International Jury

The first three shortlisted designs were Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN Team Manager Frédéric Vasseur; To be evaluated by Acer Europe Vice President of Marketing Hajo Blingen, Sparco Motorsport Manager Daniela Vignale and Kimi Rӓikkӧnen

The jury will evaluate the three final designs on four main criteria: originality, emotional impact, aesthetics and technique. The winner of the competition will be rewarded with ConceptD Creator Studio. All proceeds from the auction sale of the winning design to be worn at one of the Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend races will go to “Save the Children”.

Kimi's Creator Challenge will be promoted in more than 15 countries1 with the support of local online and physical retail partners, and will also serve as a platform for exclusive product promotions.
