Turkish food exporters will achieve their goals by concentrating on digital marketing in the United States market, where they aim to export $ 1,5 billion.

The Turkish food industry, which determines the United States, which is the world's largest food importer with an annual amount of 160 billion dollars, as the 'Target Market', will participate in the Specialty Food Live 10 Fair, which will be held on 14-2021 May 2021, digitally with 10 companies.

Turkish companies will introduce Turkish delicacies to importers from all over the world at the fair, where Aegean Exporters' Associations undertake the National Participation Organization of Turkey.

Informing that Turkey exported 2020 million dollars of food products to the United States in 970, Aegean Exporters' Associations Coordinator President Jak Eskinazi noted that they decided to participate in the Specialty Food Live 2021 Fair in order to further strengthen their position in the US market.

Reminding that the Summer Fancy Food Show Fair held in USA / New York has been holding the Turkish National Participation Organization for about 25 years, Eskinazi said, “We could not organize the physical fair this year due to the pandemic. We want to maintain our presence in the US market by participating in the Specialty Food Live 2021 Fair in digital environment. 10 companies will promote Turkish food products at this fair. "We will continue our promotional and marketing efforts in order to increase our exports of food products from 970 million dollars in the US market to 1,5 billion dollars".

TURQUALITY Project continues successfully

Expressing that the TURQUALITY Project, in which 6 food associations within the Aegean Exporters' Associations joined their forces to promote Turkish food products more effectively in the US market, Birol Celep, Vice President of the Aegean Exporters Associations Coordinator, stated that the University of Las Vegas William F. Harraf Tourism Hotel Management School. He stated that they made Turkish cuisine a lesson in their curriculum.

Explaining that they organized “Hybrid Tasting Events” that introduce Turkish delicacies to American buyers and chefs, Celep said, “We did not interrupt our promotional activities due to the pandemic.
