A grant program was prepared for the tradesmen who lost their income during the closure period. "The Decision on Grant Support to be given to Tradesmen, Craftsmen and Real Person Merchants Due to the Coronavirus Outbreak" entered into force. Accordingly, the grant support will be covered from the budget of the Ministry of Commerce and will be given directly within the framework of the support program to be prepared by the Ministry.

When Will The Grant Support Application To The Craftsmen Start?

Trade Minister Mehmet Muş said that the applications for the support to be given to the tradesmen will start on May 25 via e-government.

Grant Support to Tradesmen Application Conditions

Information on the support conditions was also provided on the website of the Ministry of Commerce.

Accordingly, the grant support was determined as 5 thousand TL for the first group and 3 thousand TL for the second group, whose economic activities were determined by the Ministry, to be paid at once.

Tradesmen and craftsmen and real person merchants who have income tax liability as of 17/5/2021 can benefit from the grant support through their main fields of activity.

When Will Grant Support Be Paid To Tradesmen?

Support applications and objections will be made electronically over the internet address “turkiye.gov.tr”.

If the applications are found suitable, the support payment will be made to the bank account of the relevant person. Fees that cannot be transferred to the bank account specified by the relevant person will be given by free payment method.
