İMAMOĞLU: “ITS APPROVALS OVER; WE WILL IMPLEMENT THE PROJECT WE HAVE "

İmamoğlu, who made his evaluation about the study tour on the walls of Hisar, said: “Our history, the history of Istanbul and the history of conquest actually have two important traces, there is a beginning. As the strategy of that time, both Anadolu Hisarı and Rumeli Hisarı were perhaps two points that were the guarantee of the conquest. This also provided a formation here; In other words, a neighborhood was established and there are people who have been living here for centuries. Such a precious area had to have a very healthy form. Today we are in Anadolu Fortress. Because our restoration work started here. There is a very special restoration work, including the prayer hall next to it. Their approval is all over. We will implement the project we have and we will have brought together a beautiful tour area, a meeting area with history and an art and culture area both to Beykoz and Istanbul. "

"BE GOOD TO OUR CITY"

Stating that the construction of the Rumeli Fortress on the European side was started on 15 April 1452 during the reign of Sultan Mehmet the Conqueror and completed on 31 August 1452, İmamoğlu said, “The Rumeli Fortress also needed a serious restoration. We started the restoration there as well. In other words, we will have the opportunity to introduce and explain two important traces, two very precious works, to Istanbul residents and the whole world, in such a powerful way. I would like to thank all my friends who have done such good works in these stable times, these difficult times. We hope that next year, maybe at this time, maybe in the summer of next year, we will be traveling this place in a completely different shape and flourished. "Good luck to our city."

AYDIN: "WE ARE SATISFIED THAT HİSAR WILL RISE AGAIN"

Beykoz Mayor Aydın also expressed his satisfaction with the restoration work initiated in Hisar, saying, “Anadolu Hisarı is a very meaningful area. In fact, Anadolu Hisarı has a feature: It is one of the first municipalities of Istanbul. Anadoluhisarı is one of the centuries-old sports clubs in Istanbul. The neighborhood was named after this Fortress. There is a very nice neighborhood culture. It is very meaningful that our Fortress will be restored by our Metropolitan Municipality; It is a very important step in keeping the history alive. It was built in the 1380s. Later, the Rumeli Fortress was built opposite it. We, the people of Beykoz, are very pleased with the fact that our Anatolian Fortress will rise again. We would like to thank our Metropolitan Municipality Mayor and his colleagues ”.
