10 thousand tons of asphalt
It is aimed to complete the 800-meter asphalt renewal work in both directions on Talatpaşa Boulevard until the eve of the day. Then again, asphalt pavement will be made on Cumhuriyet Boulevard, which is 3 thousand 400 meters long, in both directions. Thus, the two main arteries from Alsancak Station to the main service building of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality in Konak, which have been worn out over the years and lost their driving comfort, will be completely renewed. A total of 10 thousand tons of asphalt will be used in the renewal of the two main arteries. The works are planned to be completed within 20 days. Metropolitan will continue the asphalt pavement productions with a total of 12 teams in Izmir city center and districts during the closing period.
