Mayor of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç realized the dream of Necibe Avşar, who had never seen Mount Erciyes closely in his 75-year life and frequently expressed this desire.

Nine Necibe, who was taken from her home and made a tour of Erciyes by cable car, said, "I always saw Erciyes from İncesu from afar, now I saw it closely, I liked it very much, thank you very much to our president for thinking and bringing me here". Metropolitan Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç instructed his team on the longing for Erciyes, which was expressed in a television program attended by Necibe Avşar, 10, who lives in İncesu district and lost his wife 75 years ago and is known for the 'tambourine' he played at weddings.

Enjoyed the cable car, seven sausage bread

Reaching Necibe Avşar, the Metropolitan team conveyed the invitation and greetings of Mayor Büyükkılıç and took him from his home to Erciyes Ski Center. Nine Necibe, who enjoyed the cable car here, ate sausage bread, which later became synonymous with Erciyes.

Saying that he liked Mount Erciyes very much and thanked Mayor Büyükkılıç, Nine Necibe said, “I have never been to Erciyes, thank you. Thank you president, I like it, it's very nice. May Allah give us life, God will not be in our heads, say hi to him from me, too, ”he said.

Nine, mother of 2 children, stated that she played tambourine at weddings and lamented at funerals and said, “I did not go anywhere except İncesu, they would bring them to my son's house. I always saw Erciyes from İncesu from a distance, now I have seen it closely. May God forgive our president to his household, thank you very much for thinking and bringing me here ”.

Nine Necibe, who also sang folk songs on the cable car, played her favorite instrument "tambourine" in Erciyes, which she had never seen closely.

Avşar Nine, who was also served with Erciyes' water, was later taken back to her home.
