By visiting Çankırı Ring Road Construction Site; Minister Karaismailoğlu, who received a briefing from the authorities, said, "We will complete our Çankırı-Highways 4th Region Border road next year and put it into service of our people."

Karaismailoğlu said, "When the Çankırı Ring Road Project, which we have achieved 35% physical realization, is completed, the vehicles coming from Ankara and Kastamonu will be able to pass without entering the city center."

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu, who came to Çankırı for a series of visits and examinations, visited the Ring Road Construction Site; He received a briefing from the authorities. Speaking to the press, Karaismailoğlu stated that the length of Çankırı Ring Road is 16,5 kilometers; He noted that 35 percent physical realization was achieved in the project.

Karaismailoğlu said, “Until today, we have made sanctions over 1 trillion 86 billion liras in the field of transportation and communication, hand in hand with the state, private sector and our nation. Our investments brought a total added value of 2003 billion dollars to our Gross Domestic Product and 2020 billion dollars to production between 395 and 838. In addition, thanks to our investments, an annual average of 1 million 20 thousand employees have been indirectly and directly employed ”.

In 2003, we increased the length of the divided road, which was only 18 kilometers in Çankırı, by more than 12 times, to 236 kilometers. We connected Çankırı to Ankara, Karabük, Bolu, Kastamonu and Kırıkkale through divided roads. During the period of our governments in Çankırı; Gerede Çerkeş Road, Çankırı-Ankara Road, Kastamonu-Çankırı Road, Çankırı City Crossing, Çankırı Yapraklı Road, 4th Region Border Kurşunlu- Ilgaz- Kastamonu Provincial Border Road; We completed Ilgaz, Kızılırmak and Şabanözü city crossings. The budget of 5 highway investments, which are still continuing throughout the province, is over 2 billion 810 million TL. "

Minister Karaismailoğlu stated that the Çankırı Ring Road Project, which is being examined today, is within the scope of the 58,4 km Çankırı-Highways 4th Region Border Road, which is still under construction, He stated that they have completed the construction of 1 kilometers of hot-coated bituminous divided road, 161 kilometers of surface paved divided road and 29,8 meters of 13 single bridges and 237 intersection.

Karaismailoğlu said, “Our Çankırı Ring Road is a 16,5 kilometers long divided road. Our Ring Road will depart from the K10 junction and reconnect to the existing road at the beginning of Acısu Variant. In the project, we completed the K1 Köprülü Junction with a 10-kilometer surface paved divided road. When the Çankırı Ring Road Project, which we have achieved physical realization by 35 percent, is completed, the vehicles coming from Ankara and Kastamonu will be able to pass without entering the city center. With the opening of the ring road, while the urban traffic will be relieved, vehicle operation and maintenance costs will be significantly reduced.
