Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, which turns pandemic bans into opportunities, especially focusing on lane widening and road maintenance works on the main arteries, does not make concessions from transportation investments in the period of complete closure.

Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, which has implemented significant investments in every field such as new roads, road widening, bridges and intersections, rail systems in order to minimize the problems caused by transportation and traffic in Bursa, continues to turn curfew restrictions into opportunities. At the end of the first week of the complete closure period, the Department of Transportation was again on the field with 48 vehicles and a team of 83 people. While excavation filling, asphalt pavement, asphalt patch, border, traffic line, signaling and placarding works were carried out, the focus was especially on Istanbul Street this weekend. While asphalt patching works are being carried out in the entrance direction of Istanbul, across Gençosman Post Office, within the scope of the smart intersection application to be made at Beşyol Junction, approximately 800 meters of lane expansion work is carried out.

On the other hand, the asphalt, which was damaged during the connection works carried out in the City Square for the integration of T1 and T2 tram lines, was renewed with asphalt coating overnight.
