Derya Yanık, the Minister of Family and Social Services, stated that within the scope of the Totally Closed Social Assistance Program, 1.100 TL of cash aid has started to be delivered to the needy in their homes.
Minister Yanık stated that the support payment of 1,2 TL to approximately 1.100 million needy households in e-Government applications with bank accounts or using PTT Cards has been completed.
Minister Yanık: “Until the Ramadan Feast, our Vefa Social Support Groups will deliver support payments to more than 820 thousand needy households in their residences. Thus, we will support more than 2 million households within the scope of the Total Closure Social Assistance Program. " said.
Stating that they are in an effort not to leave any needy household alone in the process, Minister Yanık underlined that the aid is being delivered effectively and quickly.
Full Closure Social Assistance program payments are made for households that are considered to be in periodic need due to the epidemic and without any application. Aid Program entitlement status can be checked through the e-Devlet gateway from the section titled "Social Assistance Inquiry" of the Ministry of Family and Social Services.
