The Administration Of The Railways In England Is Under State Control Again After A Year

The UK government has announced that the public will take over the management of UK Railways again. In the statement made by the government, it was stated that infrastructure, tariffs and ticket sales will be controlled, railway services will be improved and tickets will be sold cheaper.

Currently, rail lines in the country are operated by different private companies. This has been the subject of major complaints for years, both in terms of infrastructure security, service quality and ticket prices.

Under the plan, a new state-owned structure will be created under the name of Great Britain Railways until 2023. The responsibility for the tariffs, prices, ticket sales of the trains, and the maintenance and repair of the railway infrastructure will belong to this institution.

However, private companies will also undertake the operations of many voyages in the new arrangement, and 2023 will have to be waited for major changes.
