In the statement made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), the following information was given: "In our special case statement dated April 14, 2021, due to the ongoing global problems in semiconductor supply, due to the additional supply problems in semiconductor materials caused by the earthquake and fire in Japan, It was announced that it was decided to suspend production between April 19 and June 13 by bringing forward the planned routine stance we make every year in the summer months at our Gölcük plant.
As a result of the measures taken by our main partner Ford Motor Company and the plans made with our company's suppliers, it was possible to start production one week ago, and production will start on June 7 at the Gölcük plant. On the other hand, as a result of the problems in the supply of semiconductors affecting our Ford Trucks business line, we aim to bring forward our routine stop for planned maintenance in our Eskişehir plant every summer in the summer months and in our Eskişehir engine factory, 31 May - 14 June, and in our Eskişehir truck factory. It has been decided to suspend production between 31 May and 17 June. Production will continue in our Yeniköy factory. It is expected that our production and sales forecasts for the year 2021, which were announced to the public, will remain within the announced limits, thanks to the non-interruption of operations during the routine shutdown period in the summer months and the increase in production pace in the following months.
