Noting that the number of drivers who downloaded the Eurasia Tunnel mobile application, which was opened to the service of its users in 2020, reached 44 thousand, Minister Karaismailoğlu said, “The application, which enables drivers to quickly track their license plate debt payments and receive violated transit notifications, has also significantly reduced the number of violated passages. The drivers who give automatic payment orders with Masterpass in the mobile application can pay their toll payments with their registered credit cards even when there is no balance in their HGS and OGS ”.

Karaismailoğlu said, “The Eurasia Tunnel, which is the pioneer of innovative and smart technologies to relieve traffic, was awarded the International Innovation Award in 2020 with the Speed ​​Regulating Moving Lighting Technology Pacemake. The Eurasia Tunnel, which was deemed worthy of an award in the 'Service and Solution' category, thus received its 13th international award. The application also ensures that the speed of the vehicles is stabilized, reducing the traffic density and reducing the risk of accidents by maintaining the follow-up distance ”.
