İBB Şehir Hatları AŞ continues its efforts for Istanbul residents to use sea transportation more. Expanding its transportation network with new lines, Şehir Hatları AŞ did not forget the children. The aim is to popularize sea transportation
Stating that they aim to make children love the sea and sea transportation, Şehir Hatları AŞ General Manager Sinem Dedetaş said, “We want sea transportation to be used more. We also see children as a part of this business. In order to give the love of the sea a little better, we thought of playgrounds on the ferries. We first applied it on the Moda Ferry. By adding eight more to our ferries, we created a children's playground on nine of our ferries. "We want our little passengers to get off our ferries with good memories and be eager to get on again," he said.

Having restored the historical Moda Ferry, Şehir Hatları AŞ broke new ground during this restoration. Last year, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, a playground was set up on the Ferry as a gift to children on April 23rd.
