Public transportation vehicles (EGO Buses, Metro and ANKARAY) affiliated to Ankara Metropolitan Municipality will serve citizens free of charge on Wednesday, May 102, 19, the 2021nd anniversary of our Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day.
In accordance with the decision taken by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Council, "Until the first Local Administration elections, the public transportation services provided by the EGO General Directorate from 06.00 until 24.00 at night, starting from 19 on religious and national holidays ..." During the May XNUMX Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day, they will be able to benefit from the free public transportation services carried out by the EGO General Directorate.
In this context, the public transportation program planned by the EGO General Directorate for Bus and Rail Systems is given below.
EGO BUSES
In practice, the departure times of EGO buses, which continue to serve on 341 lines, were arranged according to the Saturday work schedule applied before the curfew.
RAIL SYSTEMS
In our Rail System Facilities, service will be provided from 19 in the morning on Wednesday, 2021 May 06.00 until 21.00 in the evening when the restriction will start, with Metro and ANKARAY (ANNEX-2).
However, in order not to suffer the passengers who will make a transfer, at Ankara Metro, 21.00 from OSB / Törekent Station, 21.25 from Koru Station, 21.40 from Martyrs Station, 22.00 from Atatürk Cultural Center Station; In ANKARAY, a final voyage will be made at 21.45 from Dikimevi Station, 21.40 from AŞTİ Station and 21.50 from Kızılay Station in all directions (Koru, OSB, AŞTİ, Dikimevi).
The current departure times and route information of the buses will be available from the EGO CEP mobile application as of May 19, 2021, 24.00:XNUMX, and the "Local Transportation / Web Information System" section on the website of our Corporation (www.ego.gov.tr).
As of Thursday, May 20, 2021, the service will continue to be provided with the current work schedule, which is implemented on weekdays.
