Who is Audrey Hepburn?

Audrey Hepburn birth Audrey Kathleen Ruston; 4 May 1929 - 20 January 1993) is an English-Dutch film actor and philanthropist. He is a Hollywood star and fashion icon.

He was born in Ixelles, Brussels Region, Belgium. His mother was a Dutch barones and his father was a wealthy English banker. Her parents divorced when Audrey was only one year old and could not see her father again because Audrey remained with her mother. At the age of 10, his mother married another man, and Hepburn had to emigrate with her new father to the Nazi-occupied Netherlands. Hepburn had a very difficult childhood here, had a great interest in cinema and dreamed of being an actress. After the war ended, she went to London, enrolled in a ballet school, and after a while she started modeling.

Hepburn went to England to become an actress, when she was 1951 years old when she starred in her first film "Young Wives Tale" (22). In this first film, Hepburn, who attracted the attention of everyone with her beauty and elegance, took a rapid rise.

After starring in films such as "Monte Carlo Baby", "Lavender Hill Mob" and "Secret People", Hepburn gained great success with her role in "Roman Holiday" in 1952. "Roman Holiday", in which she portrayed a princess, was Hepburn's first lead role and won the Academy Award for Best Actress for the film she starred with Gregory Peck. This award raised him to star rank in an instant, and Hepburn starred in successful productions without losing pace.

In 1954, she starred in master director Billy Wilder's "Sabrina," opposite the famous actress Humphrey Bogart, who earned an Oscar nomination for this film. Later, Hepburn starred in films such as "War And Peace", "Funny Face", "Love in the Afternoon", "Green Mansions" and "The Unforgiven".
