Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Murat Zorluoğlu visited the Children's Traffic Training Track construction site in Ortahisar district. Murat Öztürk, Head of the Department of Science, gave detailed information to the President Zorluoğlu about the construction site.
LOCATED ON 6 THOUSAND 100 SQUARE METERS
Making a statement after his examinations, Mayor Zorluoğlu said, “Our Trabzon-Ortahisar Children's Traffic Education Center Project, located on an area of 6 thousand 100 square meters in the Şenol Güneş Sports Complex in Ortahisar district, was delivered on March 02, 2021. The project includes 1 cafeteria, 1 classroom, bicycle path, AFAD sports and training area, open education area, 7 decor buildings, first aid building, tower, mini gas station, entrance arch, overpass, mini tunnel, water tank, It has been designed for the traffic education of children, including landscaping, structural and vegetative landscaping works. "Our project, which we consider very important for our children, is planned to be completed by December 26, 2021".
TRAFFIC CULTURE
Mayor Zorluoğlu also said, “The purpose of the Children's Traffic Education Parks; To give pre-school children and primary and secondary school students the opportunity to apply the theoretical traffic knowledge they have learned in lessons. "It is aimed to create a traffic culture and to minimize traffic accidents by providing children with behavior in accordance with traffic rules by realizing the traffic environment that is encountered at any time outside of school in parks."
