THY trains its cabin crew on a domestic simulator

The project, which started in 2018, was reported to be operating under the leadership of TCI, and the project was successfully completed by 2020 and offered to the service of the THY Flight Training Center

 TCI completed the THY Cabin Service Training Simulators Project completely domestically, including the design, production and assembly stages.

In the statement made by the Turkish Airlines Press Consultancy, it was reminded that TCI Cabin Interior Systems Industry and Trade Inc. was established in 2011 as a partnership of THY and Turkish Aircraft Industry Joint Stock Company (TUSAŞ) with the aim of contributing to the indigenization of the aviation industry and the aviation industry in the field of design, certification and production.

In the statement, it was stated that TCI completed the THY Cabin Service Training Simulators Project completely domestically, including the design, production and assembly stages. In the statement that the training unit operating within the THY Flight Training Center provides practical trainings for flight personnel before and after work at intervals determined by the aviation authority, in classrooms simulated the cabin environment of a real aircraft, Airbus Training Center, which also serves other airline personnel along with THY personnel. It was emphasized that TCI produced completely realistic and representative models of 320, 330 and Boeing 737, 777 type aircrafts to be used in trainings.

In the statement, it was stated that domestic suppliers also operate under the leadership of TCI in the design, production and assembly stages of the project, which started in 2018, and that the project was successfully completed by 2020 and offered to the service of the THY Flight Training Center.

Aiming to expand its product range with other sectoral products such as Lavatory, Cargo Container, Cargo Pallet, Overhead Bin, Side Wall Panel in the near future, TCI aims to create important export items in the aviation field together with its domestic subcontractors.
