Merrell Alanya Ultra Trail Held

Hosted by Alanya; Organized by Argeus Travel & Events and Ahmet Arslan, the Merrell Alanya Ultra Trail was held with the participation of 24 athletes from 544 countries. The start of the race was given by the Mayor of Alanya, Adem Murat Yücel.

28 athletes competed in the Keykubat Mountain Run (152 km) category. In women, the first was Denisa Ionela Dragomir, the second was Oihana Azkorbebeitia Urizar and the third Yuliia Tarasova. In men, Victor Simashko became the first, Soner Büyükatalay second and the third Believer Güneş. 17 athletes competed in the Alaiye Short Trail (229 km) category. In women, Natalia Gyurten was the first, Nuray Bulut Göktepe and the third Nataliya Blagonravova. In men, Moritz Auf Der Heide became the first, Mustafa Göksel and third İbrahim Güneş.

In the Merrell Alanya Ultra Trail (76 km) category, 67 athletes ran. Starting from the historical Kızılkule, leaving behind the walls of Alanya Castle, Damlataş Cave and banana gardens, the athletes, who ran along the historical caravan routes with magnificent views, gave great struggles. As a result of these struggles, Ekaterina Mityaeva became the first in women, Elena Polyakova second and Olga Artemeva third. In men, Dmitri Mityaev came first, Mehmet Soytürk second and Navil Shaymuhametov third. 48 athletes ran in the Taurus Mountain Marathon (96 km) category. In women, Anna Korobko became the first, Sanna El Kott Helander second and Lina El Kott Helander the third. In men, Hector Haines came first, Andres Olivera Scollo second and Ali Ghareh Gheibi third.
