İZBAN, which is operated by the public transportation organizations affiliated to İzmir Metropolitan Municipality and TCDD-Metropolitan partnership, planned the timetables according to the 'full closing order' to be applied between 29 April and 17 May. Within the scope of combating the pandemic, the full closure scheme, which will be implemented in accordance with the Presidential decree and the circular of the Ministry of Interior, will start on April 29 and end on May 17. Operated by the companies of ESHOT, İZULAŞ, Metro, Tram and İZDENİZ affiliated to İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, and TCDD-Metropolitan partnership, the timetable in İZBAN has been rearranged specifically for this process.
All buses and İZTAŞIT will work
Considering that institutions and organizations exempt from full closure will continue their activities, the ESHOT General Directorate will still continue weekday bus services on 340 lines. Intensive service at the beginning and end of working hours will be maintained. However, between 10.00-16.00 and 19.00-00.20, the flights will be diluted. At the weekend, 147 lines will be served due to the curfew. İZTAŞIT lines operating between Seferihisar-Fahrettin Altay Transfer Center will also continue to operate.
Special services for healthcare professionals
On the other hand, free-of-charge shuttle buses on 13 special routes created based on hospitals for healthcare professionals will continue to serve.
Arrangement for ALES
ESHOT also organized its trips due to the Academic Personnel and Postgraduate Education Entrance Exam (ALES) to be held on Sunday, May 2. Lines running on the routes of the exam centers will be reinforced before and after the exam. Candidates who will take the exam and a companion from their spouse, sibling, mother or father; They will be able to benefit from public transportation services by presenting their exam entrance document. Examiners will be exempt from the restriction provided that they have their assignment documents with them.
Metro and Tram lines
Izmir Metro and Konak Karşıyaka The same tariff will be applied for every day of the week on trams. Every 06.00 minutes between 10.00-16.00 and 19.00-15; There will be a trip every 10.00 minutes between 16.00-19.00 and 00.20-30.
İZDENİZ program
On weekdays in İZDENİZ; Karşıyaka- Mansion flights will be made every 07.15 minutes between 10.00-16.00 and 19.00-15. Bostanlı-Konak flights will be every 07.25 minutes between 10.00-16.10 and 18.55-15. Between 10.10-15.40, Bostanlı-Karşıyaka- There will be a ring service every 30 minutes between the mansion.
Karşıyaka-Passaport-Alsancak and Bostanlı-Pasaport-Alsancak flights will be made every 07.35 minutes between 09.50-16.05 and 19.05-15.
On Saturdays and Sundays, passenger ferries are available between 08.00-20.00 in Bostanlı-Karşıyaka- There will be a ring service with the current tariff on the Konak line.
Bostanlı-Üçkuyular ferryboats will make a reciprocal 08.15-minute voyage between 09.45-16.00 and 19.00-30 on weekdays. It won't work on the weekend.
Flights in İZBAN
In the Izmir Suburban System (IZBAN), which is operated by the partnership of TCDD and Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, weekday flights will be carried out on the center line every 07.00 minutes between 09.00-15.30 and 19.00-12. Trains will run every 09.00 minutes between 15.30-19.00 and 00.20-24 on weekdays and on weekends.
