Interactive Advertising Association (IAB), 6th Ordinary General Assembly Meeting was held on March 30, 2021.
Following the annual report and internal audit report presentations at the General Assembly meeting, the management, audit and disciplinary board to be appointed in the new term were elected.
At the first Board of Directors meeting of the new period held after the General Assembly meeting Aysen Akalin He was elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Ayşen Akalın talked about the Digital Marketing Communication Platform, which they recently established as four industry associations together with IAB (Interactive Advertising Association), RVD (Advertisers Association), RD (Advertisers Association) and MMA (Mobile Marketing Association), and has played an important role in DPİP. He stated that IAB will have more brand security and brand fraud issues on the agenda, and that they will work for the responsible and safe development of digital advertising.
Akalın said that the value chain revealed by the Research on the Effects of Digital Advertising on the Economy in 2017 will be shared with the sector by working together with four associations this year within the scope of "The Impact of Advertising on the Economy". He mentioned that it is reality and that they are in research and study plans on this subject.
