At the general assembly meeting of the Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MÜSİAD) Branch, Ali Erbil was elected as the fourth President of the Swiss Branch of MÜSİAD by taking the majority of the votes. MUSIAD General President Abdurrahman Kaan, MUSIAD Board Members and MUSIAD Europe Coordinator Burhan Sağlam attended the General Assembly meeting with the video conference system.
Abdurrahman Kaan, President of MUSIAD, emphasized that the management changes are blood renewal, saying that the Swiss Branch has an important place in MUSIAD's overseas structuring and that he believes that the new managers will raise the service flag to higher levels and congratulated the new president Ahmet Erbil and his team.
Explaining that he will not be a candidate before the general assembly, the former chairman Ergün Sertkan expressed his happiness for handing over his duty to Ahmet Erbil and said, “It is a great pleasure to hand over the trust to the worthy one. We will always continue to help with our experience. He expressed his feelings by saying “God's embarrassment”.
The new President Ahmet Erbil made a short speech of thanks after the election of the general assembly and thanked the supporters and said that he is aware of the responsibility he took over and, like the presidents before him, he wants to contribute to this path by handing over the task to the younger generations when the time comes.
