Stating that Gümüşhane has always been one of the priority cities in terms of its growth rate, economic dynamism and geographical location, Minister Karaismailoğlu, referring to the investments they made in Gümüşhane in the last nineteen years, said that they transferred over 9 billion 257 million 682 thousand liras to Gümüşhane within the scope of transportation and communication investments. ; that they increased the length of the divided road, which is only 1 kilometer in the province, to 122 kilometers; He stated that they built 183-kilometer single-road construction and improvement, 2 single-tube and 12 double-tube, 18 tunnels with a total length of 179 meters, as well as 14 bridges of 203 meters.

Minister Karaismailoğlu, who stated that the total cost of 3 highway projects in Gümüşhane is over 2 billion 325 million TL as of today, said, “Strengthening the transportation infrastructure in this region surrounded by deep valleys and high mountains, improving the road network and preventing regional development and economic mobilization. we will open a little more day. Karaismailoğlu, referring to the uninterrupted, safe and comfortable traffic flow at the intersection point of Trabzon-Gümüşhane and Tirebolu-Torul axes with the opening of the Kurdish Separation Junction; “With the project, we made it possible to pass safely in the region located in the active landslide area with the least cost. In addition, the section of the low standard Tirebolu-Torul Road with sharp curves and steep slopes will be crossed in a much safer manner with the Kurdun Tunnel included in the project. On the other hand, General Manager of Highways Abdulkadir Uraloğlu stated that Gümüşhane, which is located on the Trabzon-Erzurum axis, one of the important north-south axes, is an important transit point in the inland transportation of the Eastern Black Sea.

Reminding that they opened the 33,7-kilometer state road between Köstere Stream and Gümüşhane and the 11,3-kilometer Gümüşhane city crossing into a 2 × 2 lane divided road in 2018, General Manager Uraloğlu said that the main road between Gümüşhane and Trabzon was He said that it was included in the cut-and-cover tunnel, and the Gümüşhane and Trabzon connection of the Tirebolu-Torul axis was provided by the Kurdish Separation Junction built on the cut-and-cover tunnel. The main work items of the project are 2,9 kilometers in total, 1,2 kilometers on the crossroads of Tirebolu Kurdish and 4,1 kilometers on the Köstere Stream-Gümüşhane axis; 50 thousand cubic meters of earthworks, 23 thousand cubic meters of non-ferrous concrete, 69 thousand cubic meters of reinforced concrete, 8 thousand 655 tons of reinforced concrete, 1.485 tons of bitumen, 34 thousand tons of bituminous hot mix, 180 square meters of vertical marking, 2 thousand 680 square meters of road line, 6 thousand 500 m of guardrails were manufactured.

Within the scope of tunnel studies; 350 thousand cubic meters of excavation, 34 thousand 500 cubic meters of shotcrete, 59 thousand 300 cubic meters of coating concrete, 253 thousand 500 meters of bolts were manufactured.
