Arrangement at İhsaniye Junction Relieved Traffic Reduced Carbon Emission

Konya Metropolitan Municipality has reduced the waiting time in traffic by making arrangements at the İhsaniye Junction, where an average of 41 thousand vehicles are used per day. Thus, the traffic at the intersection has been relieved and the carbon emission has been reduced and 31 trees have been brought to the nature every day.

Konya Metropolitan Municipality continues its arrangement works at intersections with heavy traffic. Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay stated that the regulatory works initiated in İhsaniye Junction in the past days have been completed and said that they both relieved the traffic and carried out a beneficial work for the environment by reducing carbon emissions.

Mayor Altay said, “During the pandemic process, we continue our arrangements at our intersections that ensure the flow of traffic in our city. In this context, we have completed the arrangement studies we have started in İhsaniye Junction recently. With the arrangement we made at the İhsaniye Junction, where an average of 41 thousand vehicles are used daily, we will reduce carbon emissions and bring 31 trees to the nature every day. Thank you for the understanding that our citizens have shown. I hope we will make the traffic of our city more fluent in line with our projects and plans. " said.
