Turnover Loss Support Application Period Has Been Extended to Businesses in Food and Beverage Sector

In the President's Decree No. 5 dated February 2021, 3506, it was stipulated to pay revenue loss support to businesses in the food and beverage sector whose activities were restricted within the framework of the measures taken within the scope of combating the coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic.

According to this;

• Being a value added taxpayer operating in the field of food and beverage (having the NACE 56 general activity classification code),
• Continuing the job that started before the 2019 calendar year or in the 2019 calendar year and having active duty as of January 27, 2021,
• The turnover in the 2019 calendar year is 3 million Turkish Liras and below, compared to the turnover in that year, the turnover in the calendar year 2020 decreased by 50% or more,

Turnover loss support payments have started to be made to businesses.

In the decision, it is stipulated that the amount to be paid will be less than 2.000 Turkish Liras and not more than 40.000 Turkish Liras, 3% of the decreasing amount of the turnover.

Applications for the said support started to be received on the e-Government system as of February 19, 2021, and with the extension, the deadline was set as April 30, 2021.

However, taking into account the requests from the tradespeople, individuals who meet the conditions to benefit from the loss of turnover support but cannot apply for support within the time limit are given the opportunity to apply until 31:2021 on Monday, May 23, 59, provided that the conditions to benefit from the support remain the same.

Turnover loss support payments are completely free of charge and in the nature of a grant and are not repaid.
