Sivas Mayor Hilmi Bilgin spoke about the Ankara-Sivas High Speed ​​Train (YHT) Project, which will reduce the travel time between Ankara and Sivas and provide comfortable transportation.

Stating that the biggest investment made in Sivas in the history of the Republic was the high-speed train, Bilgin said, “Hopefully in 2021, we will start carrying passengers to Sivas by high-speed train. Sivas will develop magnificently in terms of economy both in domestic and foreign tourism. It will be reflected in employment, ”he said.

FAST TRAIN PROJECT WILL ACCELERATE SIVAS

The High Speed ​​Train Project, which was started between Ankara and Sivas in 2008, has come to an end. Speaking about the project announced by the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Adil Karaismailoğlu, that it will be put into service in June, Mayor Hilmi Bilgin said that the high-speed train will accelerate Sivas.

Bilgin said, “It is the biggest investment made in Sivas in the history of the Republic. Hopefully, in 2021, we will start carrying passengers to Sivas by high-speed train. What will this return to us? Sivas will develop magnificently in terms of economy both in domestic and foreign tourism.

It will be reflected in employment. "It will provide direct economic return."

Those who come to SİVAS will spend a lot of time

Stating that the people who come to Sivas by high-speed train can spend full time, Bilgin said, “We have the Castle Project, which we revived the Sivas neighborhood with the view of the Gök Medrese and started to be built by our municipality.

Again, we have the Kızılırmak Project, which will reach 200 million TL. It is an important project in terms of creating a different area at the tourism point. We started the construction work. We also have the Hamidiye Culture Park Project built by our Special Provincial Administration at the entrance to Sivas.

On an area of ​​approximately 250 thousand square meters. "When people come to Sivas, we will create areas where they can spend at least a week," he said.
