Karsan, which recently made a name for itself with deliveries to Romania and finally sent its electric vehicles to the city of Sucaeva, also won the electric public transport tender for the city of Mangalia. Signing a contract with the Municipality of Mangalia as the only winner of the tender, Karsan will offer 10 Atak Electric buses to the use of the city in this context. Along with the buses planned to be delivered to Mangalia in two parties in July and September this year; The number of vehicles of Karsan in the Romanian market will increase to 120 units. Offering transportation solutions in line with the mobility needs of the age in its factory in Turkey, Karsan continues to grow with its electrical product family in export markets. Preferred by European cities with its 100 percent electric vehicles in its product range and its widespread sales-service network, Karsan has recently been the only winner of the electric public transport tender held for the Romanian city of Mangalia. After the tender, a contract was signed between Karsan Romania dealer Anadolu Automobil Romania and Mangalia Municipality for the delivery of 10 Atak Electric buses. In this context, Karsan will offer buses to the city in the second half of this year.

As in many European cities, Karsan continues to contribute to the transportation network of cities that invest for sustainable mobility in Romania. Finally, Karsan, which has delivered its electric vehicles to the city of Sucaeva, will increase the total number of vehicles across Romania to 120 with the vehicles it will deliver to the Municipality of Mangalia.

Atak Electric offers a range of 300 km

Having a dynamic design line with its completely renewed front and back, Atak Electric attracts attention with its LED daytime running lights at first glance. The electric motor operating in Atak Electric with a power of 230 kW produces 2.500 Nm of torque, providing a high performance driving experience to its user. With five 44 kWh batteries developed by BMW, the 220 m class Atak Electric, which has a total capacity of 8 kWh, surpasses its competitors with a range of 300 km, can be charged in 5 hours with alternating current charging units and in 3 hours with fast charging units. Moreover, thanks to the regenerative braking system that provides energy recovery, the batteries can charge themselves up to 25 percent. The model, which offers a passenger capacity of 52 people, has two different seat placement options, 18 + 4 and 21 + 4 folding.
